“Mushroom Lady” - Fusion Bellydance Choreography
In this 4-week, online, intermediate level fusion belly dance series you will learn a quirky choreography in which you will embody a carnivorous mushroom. Perfect for the upcoming Halloween season! The Mushroom cap is optional, but is a very fun element and will challenge you to be hyper aware of your head placement as well as the clarity of your isolations. For an additional fee I’ll share detailed instructions on how to construct this glorious cap. Please read the details below.
With lots of gentle drills and optional layers, we will work on deepening and strengthening our technique, creating clean lines in space and within our bodies.
This class is open level: newer dancers are encouraged not to use the cap and to focus on the technique. Perfect for intermediate to pro-level dancers, not recommended for brand new dancers.
All workshop registrants will receive HD video from each class, which will be accessible to you for 1 month after the live event.
WHEN: 4 Saturdays, 1 to 2:30pm EST (6pm UK time) , September 13, 20, 27 and October 4
Recordings of the class will be made available for all dancers . You can take the whole series over video - live attendance is optional.
WHERE: This class is going to be taught via online, Zoom application and all class recordings will be forwarded to class participants.
COST (you have two options):
$70 for the complete workshop series. Partial registration is not allowed - videos of all classes will be sent to all participants.
$95 - Class and Mushroom cap construction instructions. For this fee I’ll send you detailed instructions on how to construct this Mushroom cap. Materials are NOT included in this price, but I’ll send a complete list of items you’ll need to create this cap. The materials are about $55 more, depending on where you live. Constructions of the Mushroom cap will take you about 4 to 5 hours and is a very fun project!
Pre-registration is required and closes at 11.59pm, the day before the first class.
