Hand Sewing Essentials

I am excited to host my dear friend, Irina Fialko, who is a professional in the fashion industry, for a hand-sewing 101 workshop. I make nearly all of my costuming by hand, so I am thrilled to help you unlock that superpower as well!

In this session, Irina will demonstrate a few essential techniques that are a must for all seamstresses by working on two really useful projects (she will demonstrate how to properly replace a waistband and how to take in a blouse for optimal fit). Grab a pair of pants or a skirt that does not fit well and follow along! And I think we *all* have tops we love, that just don’t love us back… let’s learn tricks to change that!

This class is OPEN TO ANYONE that wants to learn hand sewing basics. You don't have to be a dancer to join in.
